Jio Platforms Limited, promoted by Reliance Industries Limited, is listing its equity shares on BSE and NSE through an initial public offering (IPO). The issue is entirely a fresh issue of up to 27 crore shares with a face value of ₹10 each. Fresh issue means no existing investor is selling shares as part of the IPO.

Public bidding is scheduled from 21 to 23 October 2026. The offer uses book building, a process in which investors bid within an announced price range and the final issue price is determined after considering demand. The details of the IPO are as follows:

About Jio Platforms Limited

Jio Platforms Limited operates a digital technology and connectivity platform with services spanning mobile and home broadband, entertainment, cloud-based products, connected devices and business technology solutions.

Its key operating subsidiary, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL), served 533.3 million customers in India as of 30 June 2026. Its offerings include 4G and 5G connectivity, JioFiber and JioAirFiber, as well as digital products for consumers and enterprises.

Digital connectivity accounts for a substantial part of the revenue. For FY2026, it reported revenue from operations of ₹1,46,885.3 crore and profit after tax of ₹30,052.7 crore on a consolidated basis. (Consolidated statements mean the figures include the company and the entities covered by its group, rather than only the parent company.)

The IPO aims to raise funds primarily for partial or full repayment of certain outstanding borrowings of RJIL, alongside general corporate purposes. Repaying borrowings means using the IPO proceeds to reduce existing debt. Because this is a fresh issue, the money raised goes to the issuing company rather than to shareholders selling existing shares.
